Children under 6, free. Children between 6 to 12, half price. Over 12, pay for food only. (under $200)
This is an estimate and will be reduced if we get more than 120 people.
Final details re cost will be announced by Friday.

Please indicate your intention by email to me, (Email address below!) by
Thursday 20th NOVEMBER.  Please include name and phone number.

The caterers require 75% deposit so we need to be accurate re numbers.
asap.
If we don't get a response by Thursday, we'll have to cancel.
Hope we can all get together and relax as we say goodbye to a very long term.....

Sorry this is rushed but the Star Ferry took ages to confirm the booking as six people had to sign the request form.....I kid you not.
Hope we can get this off the ground,

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRPERSON
10th March 2008

Dear Members and Non-Member NETs,
We are now well into the Second Term of the 2007 / 08 academic year. Both HKCEE and A – Level Mock exams are underway, and Easter is virtually upon us as well.
Much has happened in the past month or so. Our Benefits & Welfare Sub-Committee have formalised their list of requests to present to EdB under the umbrella of the NESTA – EdB Liaison Committee. We should be meeting the Bureau within a fortnight.
Secondly, the notion of a Saturday night General Meeting of NESTA once a month has come under fire. In view of the falling attendance, it has been resolved to conduct an on-line survey to which a large number of members have responded. We are now trialling ( I think that’s the correct word ) a Friday evening meeting commencing at 6.00pm. The first of these is March 14th.
Thirdly, I have decided to resign as Chairperson for personal reasons, not for any reason of dissatisfaction with the organisation. It is now time for NESTA to “move forward” with a more vibrant person as Chair. The election will be held this coming Friday. I would urge members to make an effort to attend. Drinks will be sold at half-price and NESTA is funding hot food snacks ( complimentary to members only ).
The number of NETs on-shore has now reached approximately 961. I attended the inductions two weeks ago and it is my belief that EdB are aiming to have in excess of 1,000 NETs before too long.
Anyway, without further ado, I should like to take the opportunity after seven years on the NESTA Committee, to thank all NETs for their interest and support.
Damien Vance
Chairperson
